District 2-A3 Goals
2007-2008
~~~~~~~~
Greater collaboration, cooperation and friendship between all of our district’s Lions clubs.
Acceptance of the challenge to change through thoughtful planning, and activities to better serve each other and our communities.
The strengthening of our existing clubs through the provision of, and participation in training for leadership positions at the district and club levels.
An increase in the membership retention rate for our Lions Clubs through strong, active and purposeful leadership by club, region, zone and district officers.
The development and implementation of a membership recruitment plan by each of our district’s Lions Clubs which will result in the sponsorship of two new Lions by each of the club’s members.
The chartering of a minimum of two new Lions Clubs in our district which are supported by active, dedicated Lions Clubs and Guiding Lions.
The recruitment of a minimum of twenty (20) women as new Lions Club members.
The proper orientation of all new Lions Club members by sponsoring Lions.
The formation of new Leo clubs in each of our communities so that our youth have the opportunity to provide community service, and to learn from positive role models in our Lions Clubs.
The prompt, and full payment by each Lions Club of its international, state, and district dues, and all other financial obligations.
The timely submission of all Written Monthly Membership Reports (WMMR), and annual club officers reports (PU-101) by all Lions Clubs in our district to the International Association of Lions Clubs office, the District Governor, Region and Zone chairpersons.
100% support of our district’s designated Lions charities by all Lions Clubs.
